Jurisdiction

The ombudsman has jurisdiction regarding the Boise City Police Department, including the Airport Police, Boise City Parking Services, and Boise City Code Enforcement.  The ombudsman cannot investigate complaints outside his jurisdiction.

If you have a complaint involving a law enforcement agency other than Boise City, you will have to contact that agency directly and ask for their Office of Internal Affairs.

If you have a complaint or question involving long-term care or assisted living facilities you will need to contact a Long-Term Care or Senior Ombudsman.
